Work Somewhere You’re Treated Like Family
$15/hour to start · Paid training · No experience or certification required
SILK In-Home Care is a family-owned agency helping seniors across Southern Ohio live safely at home. We're growing, and we're hiring caregivers who want meaningful work close to home. You don't need prior certification — if you have a caring heart and reliability, we'll train you, and we pay you while we do.
Why join the SILK Family?
$15/Hour to Start: Competitive pay because we value what you do.
We Pay for Your Training: No experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know and pay you while you learn.
Stay Close to Home: We hire in Chillicothe, Jackson, Wellston, Gallipolis, Athens and Waverly. We work hard to keep your commute under 20 minutes. We hire parts in between if you are in the country like us.
Flexible Life: Whether you need school hours, overnights, or just weekends, we build the schedule around your life.
Nervous about "Personal Care"? Don't be. We specialize in matching the right caregiver to the right client. If you’re more comfortable with companionship and meal prep, we start there.
What You'll Do
Help seniors with everyday living: companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, and being a dependable, friendly presence. This is non-medical care — no nursing license required.

Note From the Owners:
We know what its like to be tossed around and treated like a number. To be worried about work or what is going on with your job. Not at this company. If you care well for the client, and give it your all we will support you 100%. You might need time off for your family, schooling, or sickness. We are very understanding. We hold everyone to a high standard of care. This is true. But…We think you hold yourself to it already. So, Welcome to The Family!
